Product Description

Up for sale, a Godin Acousticaster Deluxe in exceptional, near mint condition and in perfect working order. The Acousticaster is the original electro-acoustic hybrid guitar that put Godin on the map. This pioneering design features eighteen tuned metal tines mounted under the bridge to help create the unique sound of the Acousticaster, along with a Godin GJN1 mini-humbucker a custom voiced top mounted preamp and two outputs (electric & acoustic/mix). The chambered mahogany body is capped with a solid spruce top and weighs in at only 6lbs 8oz, balancing well on a strap. Professionally setup and strung with nickel 12-52 strings, the Acousticaster is a purposefully designed and innovative instrument that strikes the perfect balance between traditional acoustic and electric tonalities.
The one piece maple neck has a slender C profile with a smooth satin finish and slab maple fretboard. The scale length measures a full 25 1/2" with a 22 fret neck and fretwire that is immaculate and practically unplayed. The nut width measures 1 5/8" and the headstock features dual string trees and black Godin-branded tuning machines that turn smoothly and work as intended.
The electronics consist of an undersaddle transducer pickup with a custom preamp that boasts controls for Volume as well as a three band EQ. This pickup can be blended with the neck position humbucker, which features its own Volume knob as well as Treble and Bass controls. Cosmetically, this guitar is showroom clean and we cant find a scratch on it! The protective plastic is still on the back panels, and this is simply one of the nicest Acousticasters on the market!
The original well padded Godin gigbag is included.
