This is the uniquely Gretsch model G5135 Electromatic CVT "Corvette". 1st designed in 1961 (with several early revisions), the new Electromatic corvette shares essentially the same design as its 1960s ancestors, with a few modern improvements. The G5135 is a thin, lightweight solid body electric with great balance and a very ergonomic design. The sound is wide open with plenty of sustain and punch. The Corvette makes a great rock guitar but is suited to play many styles of music. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new guitar and comes with the full Gretsch Limited lifetime factory warranty.

Newly designed Mega’TronTM pickups howl at the wind, and the ultra slim design means you can take this baby on the go! Other features include mahogany set-neck, anchored Adjusto-MaticTM bridge, chrome-plated die-cast tuners, and Bigsby® B50 Tailpiece. The Electromatic series guitars offer classic Gretsch sound and style at a very affordable price. The build quality, fit, and finish of these instruments is excellent and the sound is authentic Gretsch goodness. The guitars play very well and are built to accommodate many playing styles and varying demands from discerning guitarists. Weather you like 8s and feather light super low action or 12s and a burly feel, your Electromatic can be set up to meet your needs.
