What makes this guitar special: This gorgeous dreadnought is absolutely everything a vintage acoustic should be. It’s got more mojo than it knows what to do with, with a vibe that is out-of-this-world cool. This thing has been well-loved and played to hell and back, and has some serious stories to tell. The wood has opened up beautifully over the years, giving it a robust and full sound, rife with character and charm. This is one that is sure to have you strumming away for hours. As with all our guitars, it’s been professionally setup and inspected by our in-house master luthier, and will arrive ready to play out of the case.

Cosmetic condition: Road worn, well-loved, and ridden hard, with tons of real deal player’s wear. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, scrapes, and scuffs throughout the instrument, with a handful of repaired cracks, finish checking all throughout the entire guitar, and multiple areas of finish wear. The top shows a couple small holes that have been filled, and the back shows some amateur finish touchups too. Neck has been refretted, and frets show some mild wear, but still have a lot of life left in them. The finish has bled over much of the binding, and the original tuners are a little stiff, but work fine. There is some very minor bridge separation, but bridge is firmly intact. Action sits just a touch high and the 12th fret, but all notes ring clear and play comfortably up and down the length of the fingerboard.

Body: Double bound mahogany back and sides with solid spruce top in aged natural finish. Multi-ring rosette and rosewood bridge with tortoise pickguard.

Weight: 4 lb, 4.1 oz

Neck: C-shaped mahogany neck with aged white side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Gold Gibson headstock logo and original tuners, which function great. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape and frets show modest wear, with a lot of life left in them. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the length of the instrument.
