The two knives I have opened and examined display a 2013 manufacture date, and I expect the rest will all show the same year of manufacture.

When you receive your knife, you may think the pivot is too tight -- this is not the case -- these knives are EXTREMELY well made, and will require a break-in period. Plan to spend the equivalent of roughly 3-4 hours where you can just open and close the knife over and over and over to seat the pivot washers and loosen it up -- it will seem VERY tight at first, but it WILL break in -- be patient and do not loosen the pivot screw to adjust it until AFTER break-in!!
