This breath-taking guitar is from the PRS S2 line of guitars, made with the same processes and specs in the same Maryland factory as all other USA-made PRS guitars.

The mahogany chambered body is cut to the elegant singlecut silhouette and is capped with an asymmetrically bevelled piece of maple finished in PRS exclusive Ice Blue Firemist finish. This timeless combination of maple on mahogany creates a guitar with full resonance and sustain with articulate and dynamic attack, with an openness only available with a semi-hollow design. 

All this wonderfully-PRS tone is captured by a pair of S2 #7 humbuckers. These ultra-musical and dynamic pickups are wired to the always-perfect two volume and two tone setup. The addition of coil tapping via push/pull tone pots simply increasing the tonal range of this instrument. 

Paul Reed Smith has long been synonymous with superb feeling, super-fast playing necks, and this S2 is no exception. Full and solid, the mahogany neck is superbly comfortable. And the rosewood fretboard has a 10" radius for the utmost is playability; instantly recognizable with the PRS Birds In Flight inlay.
