Description:2 (1 pair) quick-connect adapters that you would use to solder to your conventional Gibson, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, etc, pickup leads so that you may plug your conventional pickups into a Gibson PCB harness with the small white 5-pin quick connect receptacles (see pics above).
These adapters can be used with 4-conductor (5-wire) humbuckers, 2-conductor humbuckers, P-90s, single coils, etc.
I can make you a set for the major manufacturers (Gibson, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, etc), or just select "Other" in the pickup mfr dropdown above, and leave a note during checkout, or send me a message after you do the buy-it-now.
If you would like to mix and match not a problem. For example, one for Gibson (2-conductor), and one for DiMarzio (4-conductor). Just select what you can in the dropdowns above and be sure to leave a note during checkout, or send me a message after you do the buy-it-now.
Remember, regardless of what pickup manufacturer you select, on my quick-connect adapters YELLOW LEAD ON ADAPTER IS FOR BARE GROUND (shield).
These are hand made in Phoenix, Arizona. The connections are all soldered (not just crimped) to the terminals, then heat-shrink tubing is used to reinforce the connections at the connector. Also, the ends you that will solder your pickups to are pre-tinned.
Each wire is about 5 inches in length, which should give you plenty of wire to work with. Their length may even serve to extend pickup leads that were cut too short so they may reach the control cavity, if you have that issue.
Included are pre-cut pieces of heat shrink tubing that you can use to insulate your individual connections after you have soldered them. Be sure to slide the shrink tubing onto the adapter wires BEFORE soldering to your pickup leads. Then after soldering use a lighter or heat gun to shrink for nice clean insulated connections.
