It's all here, and the M1 VTS top has plenty of room to grow in time with a tone that's noticeably different than that of a non-torrefied top. Perhaps my favorite feature is the low-gloss lacquer finish. Super cool and takes play wear well as opposed to high gloss Nitro which becomes cloudy or shows wear if you stare at it for more than 30 seconds at a time. I love the attention to detail at every point from butterbean Waverlys, branded center strip stamp, and a nut that sits in the slot at a 45-degree angle just like the good ole days. There's plenty more, but I'll not bore you. For the price, it can't be beat. It's the instrument of a lifetime for a guy like me. I'll never have the $90,000 lying around to grab a real one. Lol. And while there are many phenomenal boutique luthiers who make great instruments, chances are they'll cost a few thousand more than a 28A. Nope. I'll take the one that comes from Nazareth."
