Marshall Anniversary 6912 1x12 Cab Blue with Cover

Here is a very rare item indeed … 

a 1992 era Marshall Anniversary 1x12 cab in blue with the highly coveted S303 G12 Gold 200 watt speaker!

As you can see, this one is in ‘gigged’ condition, but still sounds great & even has the original cover with it.

Around the time these cabs were produced, upgrading your guitar speakers to EV’s or higher wattage bespoke drivers was the norm due to the popularity of rack systems and the trend of higher output small combo’s (such as Mesa Boogie’s) being widely used. 

The Marshall Anniversary 6101 combo was released as their solution to this option and was introduced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company via a limited run blue tolex.

This speaker and configuration was never repeated by Marshall, and this range has become highly sought after ever since.

This along with an additional speaker (also for sale in my other items) were bought by myself for a Zilla Fatboy project that never materialised, I’m sticking with my trusty Cornford cabs!

If you are a fan of the more recent modelling & profiling amps such as Axe FX and Kemper, this cab would be ideal as you get the clarity of an EV style speaker with the added bonus of Celestion ‘warmth’, a pretty unique combination.
