This is a rare Gretsch Billy Bo Jupiter Thunderbird FSR Reverse body. Its hard enough getting your hands on a standard Jupiter Thunderbird let alone a reverse body model. These were a very limited run for the Japan market. Dont miss this opportunity!

The story goes something along the lines of Bo Diddley gave Billy Gibbons one of his famous gretschs back in the day and years later when BFG was about to tour he was looking through his collection for something impressive, pulled out the ol Diddley and had gretsch start building the perfect touring guitar.

His additions included Powertron pickups which sound awesome and a pinned bridge.

This one has also been hot rodded with the addition of a bigsby & a Tone Pros bridge which was a huge improvement to stability and tone. The bigsby increased the string angle which was much needed. The result was a huge increase in sustain! The strap button has also been relocated from the top edge to the back of the body below the neck joint (like an SG) which has given the guitar great balance. In its original position the guitar was not balanced and the head dropped while playing which was a pain in the arse. These also come standard with locking strap locks but these were removed when the bigsby was fitted.

The overall condition is great with the typical signs youd expect from a guitar thats been played. Ive tried to highlight this as best I can in the photos and can provide further photos to people who cant view before buying.

The original bridge, strap locks and G tail piece will also be included in the sale. It also comes with the original Gretsch hard case, strap, key, truss rod tool, certificates, case candy and a set of Reverend Willy strings.
