This is the all new model Players Edition G6136T-WHT White Falcon from the Gretsch Professional Series! This latest Falcon is relentless in providing players with stellar tone, feel, and looks, all while showing its classic Gretsch roots. Gretsch has taken features from Falcon highpoints in its fabulous history to make this model. The body and fretboard are based on a ’59 spec Falcon while the vertical headstock logo is lifted from the original ’55 version. The G6136T-WHT is indeed the ultimate players Falcon!

 The goal of the Players Edition design was to create the ultimate working guitarists Gretsch that delivers classic tone and style while at the same time offering modern features to increase convenience and ergonomics. Gretsch has absolutely delivered and has set a new standard in modern arch top design. All Players Edition models feature the tried and true High Sensitive FilterTron pickups in the neck & bridge position. These pickups are true the original Filter’Tron design offering a huge variety of tones from clean and jazzy, to punchy twang. They handle high gain settings with style and work well with all varieties of distortion and overdrive pedals. H.S. Filter’Trons are known for their highly dynamic sound with robust and punchy lows, smooth and subdued midrange and articulated shimmering high frequencies. The Players Edition guitars also feature the modern “ML” bracing concept from Gretsch. The “ML” Bracing is a bit like the classic ’59 Trestle bracing but with a lower mass and more minimal design. The result of this is a guitar that has the sustain and feedback rejection characteristics of Trestle bracing, but with a livelier resonance lighter weight overall. Essentially, you get big hollow body tones with thinner body design without all the feedback common with a conventional hollow body design. The neck used on the Players Series is medium profile “U” shape with a 12” fretboard radius and medium jumbo frets. It’s a very comfortable neck with a great feel offering effortless playability. Another standard found on the Players series is a “treble bleed” circuit on the master volume control. This means the guitar retains the tone and presence when the volume is rolled off. With Gretsch guitars that feature traditional wiring, you’ll find a bit of tone roll-off when using the master volume control. Not so with the new Players Editions, the tone stays bright and true wherever the volume is set. The Players Edition hollow body models feature a host of other “player centric” features including a thinner 2.25” body, Shaller brand locking tuners & strap locks, pinned “rocking” bar bridge, reinforced output jack, GraphTech Tusq XL nut and No-Load tone pot. Restringing is also modernized and made much easier with the new String-Thru Bigsby design.

The Players Edition represents a new era for Gretsch and they have once again set the bar for archtop electric guitar building! This is a brand new guitar that ships with the Gretsch Limited Lifetime Warranty, all factory documentation and a full setup by our professional luthiers.

About Cancellations and Returns

We accept returns as stated in our written policy. We accept returns per the following conditions: Returned product and retail packaging must be same as shown in auction pic. For authorization, Email us within 10 days. Item must be shipped within 14 days of receipt. Please do not ship unless emailed to do so. Returns must ship prepaid, insured and arrive safely. Regardless of return reason, seller s&h costs are deducted from refund.  Markdown items are not eligible for refund. Due to costs and shipping risks returns are not accepted from International buyers. Restocking fee is 10% ($16.00 minimum) 

Once you have purchased or won an item you are expected to complete the transaction. Under no circumstance do we accept cancellation after purchase unless ebay policy provides for such. Those who do not complete the transaction will be reported to ebay and receive a non-payer strike per ebay policy.

 

Used guitars that are listed as “Pristine are perfect.” They are “as new” so nothing to talk about.  “Mint” are  9.0 to 9.95 condition. In our opinion it is very difficult for a used guitar to be a perfect 10. We do describe any meaningful issues at the top of the listing.  If they are minor, we do not note esthetic issues such as pick marks or not thru the finish rubs and scratches on back; expect them. We always note if a case or other accessories are included. Cases and other accessories are not included unless stated or pictured in listing. If unclear, please email questions before you buy, Our replies are frank.

 

Payment: Payment is customarily made within 1 to 3 days. If there is to be a delay, heads up from you will be appreciated. Safest Payment:  We prefer payment by Visa, MasterCard or discover. Our superior standing and solid financial status qualifies us to accept Credit cards eliminating the need to offer the autocratic “service” of PayPal. International Buyer Policy: Upon arrival postal and or  customs may charge you brokerage, duty, VAT, tax, oversize charges, etc. for which you are responsible. Each country has package size restrictions. Packages refused by your country and returned/received back by GuitarStable will receive a full refund of the purchase price less the s&h since s&h is not refunded by usps.
