Rare, Original Custom Shop Ordered Jackson 18-volt Active Electronic System

Original Jackson Custom Shop Strat with Hot Rod Flames Graphics and matching pickup covers option, thick slab of rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlays, and original Jackson logo hardshell case. Jackson San Dimas neck plate with low four-digit serial number 20xx (which will only be disclosed to the buyer and stated in shipping documents). This guitar features a rare, custom shop built Jackson 18-volt Active Electronic System with its unique circuit board, as shown. All solder joints appear to be original and intact, and two Energizer 9V batteries are included, also as shown. Before this listing, I was contacted by and received an email from Mike Taylor, who had identified this guitar as a 1987 build, and here is a direct cut-and-paste from his email: "I remember working on this guitar back in 1987 at the Ontario plant..Jackson moved to ontario in 1986 and continued to use San dimas plates until they were all used up".  Sold as is and as shown.
